Happy has been a close friend of Free since early childhood.
He has been all but forgotten for many years.
Recently his name was brought up in a conversation that Free had with his brother and sister.
Sure enough when Free looked for Happy, there he was sitting patiently in a box.
And yet after more than 40 years of sitting in quiet solitude he is still Happy!
It's funny how old friends can be valuable teachers.
So now,
when Free's mind tricks him into thinking 25 minutes is a long time to sit on a cushion,
he lets that thought float by.
He remembers his friend Happy and how Happy has been "just sitting" for years and years.
Then Free lets that thought float by.
And Free just sits.
So always remember,
"Don't worry. Be Happy"
